Bill began his horse training career by cowboying on some of the largest and best known cattle ranches in the United States.  In 1978 he gave up cowboying, went to town, and began training and showing horses professionally.  Utilizing what he learned from hours of riding ranch horses as the heart of his training program, he began to produce money earners in cutting, working cow horse & reining.  Bill is proud to have trained NCHA limited-age event finalists, several Open World Champions as well as Amateur & Youth Champions.

Bill cares about his students & takes a deep personal interest in their success.  He has a wealth of knowledge & practical experience which he readily shares with those who seek his counsel.  Bill has an uncanny ability to intuit what the horse's next thought or step is, and works diligently at teaching his student the same skill.  His program today incorporates not only arena work for refining horse and rider, but using those skills & knowledge in the field as well.
